Colossus Bets syndicate for NFL week eight

Here’s the preview of my Colossus Bets syndicate for NFL week eight, and we’re in it to win £50,000. To be part of our Syndicate, you can get involved here.

DEN Broncos @ KC Chiefs (7-12, 13-18)

The Broncos defense has shown some glimpses of life recently but it’s not enough to stop the Andy Reid and Pat Mahomes offense. They played them well for two quarters in the first meeting in week 4 but the Chiefs overcame and adjusted. In KC it won’t be as close.

TB Buccaneers @ CIN Bengals (7-12)

I expect the Bengals to get back to winning ways this week when they face the Bucs. Cincinnati will be hurting from their blowout loss to the Chiefs and will want to re-establish themselves as one of the stronger AFC teams. The Bengals offense is likely to be too much for the Bucs defense to handle.

BAL Ravens (1-6) @ CAR Panthers (1-6, 7-12)

Both teams were involved in great comeback games last week, Carolina on the winning end, the Ravens on the losing end. Can Cam Newton replicate his moments of brilliance across a whole game? Edge to the home team in this even match up.

SF 49ers (7-12) @ ARZ Cardinals (7-12)

Who is the worst team in the NFC West? 49ers have shown more promise on offense until they were mauled by the Rams last week. Can Josh Rosen overcome his offensive line? Could go either way this one too.

GB Packers @ LA Rams (1-6, 7-12)

There seems to be some belief that the Rams could be caught out by a rested Packers. Mike Pettine’s defense hasn’t shown much to believe it can stop the highest scorers in the league. Aaron Rodgers can always keep you in the game but likely to be playing catch up most of Sunday afternoon.

NO Saints (1-6, 7-12) @ MIN Vikings (1-6)

It’s a rematch of last season’s divisional playoff classic. Right now, both look like ‘playoff teams’ again but the Saints look pretty unstoppable. The rules and schemes make Brees unplayable at times, and playing in the comfort of a Dome will edge slightly to the Saints, but it could go either way.

NE Patriots (13-18, 19-24) @ BUF Bills

This is likely to be a blowout here, in one of the ugliest Monday Night Football match-ups of the season. The Pats offense is back to its best with Josh Gordon proving to be a great gamble. The Bills defense can be effective but will get tired when their offense can’t stay on the field for long.
