Colossus Bets syndicate for NFL week 14

Two weeks ago, we went 6 for 7 in the syndicate (woop woop!). Here’s the preview of my Colossus Bets syndicate for NFL week 14, and we’re in it to win £50,000. To be part of our Syndicate, you can get involved here.

Falcons v Packers (7-12, 13-18)

Green Bay start life after Mike McCarthy against the injured and disappointing Falcons. The Falcons offense was kept in check by the Ravens last week and have a tough trip outside up north in cold Green Bay. Expect the Packers to ride the wave of firing McCarthy all the way to a win in front of their home crowd here.

Giants (7-12 ,13-18) v Redskins

Washington have a short week to get Mark Sanchez more comfortable with the offense, if that’s possible. The Giants impressed in periods against the Bears and could make life tough for Washington who are starting to see their season slip away. Another Beckham v Norman match up, expect the G-men to come out on top.

Ravens v Chiefs (7-12, 13-18)

Great offenses usually do well against great defenses in the regular season and 2018 will certainly be no different. Can the Ravens hang with the Chiefs with Lamar Jackson under centre? Can the Ravens defense take away Kelce and force them to rely on other weapons without Kareem Hunt? Likely to be another game where the Chiefs get closer to securing the number one seed.

Steelers (13-18) v Raiders

The Raiders played the Chiefs hard in an AFC West rivalry but can they get up again for the Steelers visiting? They’ll be hurting after Sunday nights loss to the Chargers. To have any hope of getting a bye in the playoffs they need to win at Oakland. And they will…

Eagles (7-12) v Cowboys (1-6, 7-12)

Both teams come into this on a little bit of form with what is likely to be a straight fight for the NFC East title. The Cowboys shocked everyone with their display against the Saints and are well rested. The Eagles played Monday night so will be disadvantaged there. The Eagles front needs to get after Dak and stem the running from Elliott. It’s likely the Cowboys will have a bit too much for Philly in this game but the race to conquer the East won’t be over.

Rams (7-12, 13-18) v Bears (1-6)

Potentially one of the games of the season and another offense v defense. Chicago have the benefit of being at home here but will need to put up some points early if they’re to hang with the Rams and be able to rush Goff with their front seven. The Bears disappointed last week and gave away turnovers, they might need to score 30 to be in with a chance here. Can Trubisky do it and can the defense chip in with a score too?

Vikings v Seahawks (7-12, 13-18)

Seattle has done well beating bad teams and losing close ones to good teams. They beat the faltering Panthers and could put a dent in the playoff hopes of another fellow middling team in the Vikings here. Not all is well with the Vikings coaches and it’ll be interesting to see if they run the ball more here. That’s a philosophy Pete Carroll believes in and has taken a young regenerating team further this season than most expected. Expect the Seahawks to have a bit too much for the Vikings here.
