As you’ll have read in my recent blog post ‘My NFL UK Fantasy Football Journey… So Far‘ I was feeling pretty good about the team I’d selected for Week 12. I’d gone for the players I’d called ‘old faithful’ because in previous weeks they’d scored me some serious points.
I had Andrew Luck as my QB, Marshawn Lynch and DeMarco Murray as my RBs, Jordy Nelson and Jeremy Maclin as my WRs, Antonio Gates as my TE, Eagles as my Defense and Cody Parkey as my Kicker. I’d even selected Rob Gronkowski as my Wild Card.
I was feeling confident. Confident it was going to be my best week. But no. It was actually my second worst week in fantasy! I got just 92 points and ranked 13176th. Poor! Cody Parkey got me the most points, gaining 21. Eagles Defense kindly got me 17 too.
You can think you’ve got the best team but it seems they all had a bit of an off-week (except for Cody and the Defense). Week 13 will see some big changes… and I’m nervous about this!
