Arizona-CardinalsComing into the 2015 NFL Season with back-to-back double-digit winning seasons, confidence is expectedly high for the Arizona Cardinals as they look to dodge serious injuries to key players, pray that a new-look offensive line can give them something resembling a decent running game, prove that there is life in their defence post-Todd Bowles and then overthrow the Seattle Seahawks atop the NFC West. Not that we’re asking for too much this upcoming season!

A tough schedule awaits the Arizona Cardinals and the bookmakers have given them a generous over/under total of 8.5 wins for the season – I’d seriously lump on it being over and by a comfortable margin; provided things go their way, another double-digit win season beckons for the Cardinals. As tough as their 2015 schedule looks on paper, they’re going to have to beat the best to prove they’re worthy of taking the Lombardi Trophy back to Glendale. The AFC North will be a tough test for Arians’ men as will the game against the Green Bay Packers in Week 16…and then there’s the warzone of NFC West divisional games to contend with. As I say, brutal on paper but they’ve got the players and coaching staff to navigate these tough ties so nothing to worry about…right?

They’re fully capable of it and the roster is in excellent shape for a run at glory, provided they can keep Carson Palmer on the field and not in the treatment room. If they can do that and the defence is able to maintain even just an average level of performance under James Bettcher, don’t be surprised when Carson Palmer, Larry Fitzgerald and the Bidwill family are the ones holding the Lombardi over their heads in San Francisco’s backyard.
