This summer, the Jacksonville Jaguars are hosting a three day academy at Brunel University in Uxbridge where players will be trained by coaches, former Super Bowl champions and NFL legends: Mark Brunell, Tony Boselli, Tyrone Wheatley, Keenan McCardell, Marcus Pollard, Keith McKenzie and Fernando Bryant.
The camp takes place from the 13th July until 15th July where attendees will take part in training exercises during the day, with the opportunity to be filmed and have their footage analysed by the coaches in the evening.
Jaguars coach, NFL veteran of 17 years and two time Super Bowl champion Keenan McCardell has said: “I’m excited to be heading to the UK to be a part of the Jaguars Academy. Despite being new to the Jaguars coaching staff, I’m really eager to see first-hand the growth of NFL in the U.K. so I can’t wait to help prospective players and coaches continue to learn even more about the game of American football.”
The game here in the UK is growing year on year thanks to the strong coverage on TV and the huge support, which is thrown behind each NFL International Series game, taking place in London.
Speaking about the opportunity, Jaguars Head Coach, Doug Marrone believes the academy is “a great eye opener into what the Jaguars are all about: hard work, commitment and having fun on the field.”
If you ever wondered if you have what it takes to be in the NFL, this training is the ultimate experience and costs £250 per person including accommodation and two pairs of kit. For more information, visit: https://www.jagscampandacademy.com/
