Coming soon … the NFL podcasts you must listen to!

Allow me to introduce you to an upcoming series of blog posts on the NFL podcasts you must listen to! A series I will be calling, “NFL Podcast of the Week“.

Why am I doing this you ask?

Someone recently commented that I am “not a real NFL fan” because I don’t understand all of the rules. So I set myself a mission to learn about the game, and keep on top of what’s happening across the league.

I thought a lot about it and decided the best way to do this would be to start listening to podcasts on my daily commute. There are of course many ways I can achieve this aside from podcasts – reading books, scouring the internet, and watching more game footage. However, I chose podcasts because I tend to drive for almost two hours a day. Plus it makes sense to do something productive instead of listening to songs on the radio.

After some recommendations from my followers on Twitter I have subscribed to 18 NFL Podcasts. Believe me there are way more than this, but most podcasts seem to be around the 45 minutes, so let’s be realistic.

How will it work?

Each week, I will post on here the NFL podcasts you must listen to. Of course, if there is something your adamant I need to listen to, please do tell me via the comments below or by tweeting me at @NFLGirlUK.

Whilst I have your attention…

have you been listening to ‘Ninety-Nine Yards: American Football for UK fans’? It’s a weekly podcast hosted by yours truly. Each week I am joined by members of the Ninety-Nine Yards team, along with special guests. You can subscribe to our show on Apple Podcasts or via Spreaker – Happy listening!

Since launching the website in 2014, she has made regular appearances on the TalkSport2 ‘All American Sports Show’ with Nat Coombs and in 2016 was ranked No.37 (of 400+) in the “Super Bowl: Top 50 UK Influencers” by marketing software producers Analytica for “igniting conversations” between fans.

Don’t listen to the haters- people are dumb! You can be a fan and not an expert. The fan is emotionally involved, the expert is paid to be involved. The fan invests time, money and energy. The Expert is paid for his/her opinions.

Download 5 yard rush. Great podcast
